Kilburn is one of London’s most diverse and multi-cultural areas, nestled in an affluent area between West Hampstead and Maida Vale. Given its location it offers rapid and easy access to Central London, the City and the West End.

Kilburn High Road is the local railway station situated on the London Euston to Watford Junction line. Its underground link is on the Jubilee and Bakerloo lines (Zone 2), whilst Brondesbury overground serves the Richmond to Brondesbury station (and more !).

Situated in London’s zone 2, Kilburn is close to a number of London’s top attractions and you will find, within a 20 minute walk, the Abbey Road studios, Lord’s cricket ground and the Ben Uri gallery. Further afield, but all still within 3 miles of Kilburn High Road station, there is Hyde Park, the National Gallery, Camden Market, the Alexander Fleming Laboratory museum, together with the Victoria and Albert, the Natural History and British museums.

Lovers of original drama will delight in the fact that Kilburn has its own theatre, whilst park lovers can spend their time in Kilburn Grange Park, with its 3.2 hectares of open green space. It contains a children’s playground, outdoor gym equipment, along with both basketball and tennis courts.

Full of character Kilburn plays host to a number of bars and pubs, with multiple live music venues, which gives it the origin of its nickname ‘London’s music mile’.

Along with the variety of pubs, Kilburn also boasts numerous restaurants to choose from. If pub grub is not your choice there is fine dining or a late-night takeaway, and you will be spoilt for choice with sushi, Italian, Asian, kebab, Greek or fish and chips on the menu – there really is something for everyone.

With regard to education, the borough boasts an impressive selection of highly rated schools. Based on the results of GCSE and ‘A’ level exam pass results, the top 3 schools in the area are :
